In this sequel to Drop Dead Gorgeous, Alexandra Jane (A.J.) Moring is now an assassin employed by a covert group of disgruntled DEA members. She always leaves a calling card at the scene of her “hits,” a queen of spades playing card.

The story held my attention from the beginning to end. The end has me salivating for the next story, Betrayal. I especially liked how the author worked in the paragraph of 1600 Pennsylvania and you were correct, it did not suck.Product details

Love this latest book from Don. Was worth the wait to be able to read it, now the wait is on for the third book. Love all of his books.
Good reading, this is second in the queen of spades series and I am looking forward to the third and more.
As usual Donald Churchwell holds you spellbound throughout the book. Once you start, it's hard to put down. Obvious extensive research went into this book. Although it is the second in a series, if you have not read Drop Dead Gorgeous, you will still be intrigued. Recommended highly!
the novel moved fast, the characters real, and aj is fabulous. i can hardly wait to read her next adventure.
